A great action cam with one drawback imo.
This review is for this model of the camera I bought. It is not feedback for the seller of my particular camera. I don't think it is as easy to use as say... a typical phone camera. I will explain below. It's a great camera for v logging. The one annoying hassle I have with it is when it turns the photo mode on after I have set the camera to video. I think that GoPro should put a separate switch on the camera for the different modes instead of using the same button for power on/off. If you use the phone app for the camera, be sure to turn the camera off when finished with the app. The app turns the camera on and it is easy to forget, leading to a flat battery in your gopro when you want to use. I also think that it should have its own wind deflector/dead cat for its microphones. The built in microphones a pretty useless on windy days or bike rides etc. It isn't a toy as some people suggest. You can do great videos with this camera. Sure, it won't record raw or prores files like the cinema cameras do, but it is not meant for cinema quality footage. A flip screen would come in handy although I doubt it would be practical for the manufacturer. Maybe in the future with a different design?Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Quality is great light, battery duration needs work

Almost the best hero yet.
Have had a few of the past GoPro blacks. Image quality and stabilisation are amazing with this one. Pity that the firmware seems to be rather buggy. Image Stablisation and timewarp are awesome
coming from a gopro 4+, this is so much better with image quality and the stablisation is so good. Some of the functions are awesome as well. the downside is still the battery life. i normally go out for 1.5 to 2 hours and it dies at about 1hr 20 mins. just need to be better with battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Powerful action camera as always !
Video stabilisation is very good and the image quality is outstanding ! Good thing is that old accessories are still compatible with The Hero7 (e.g smart remote ) . Two things I’m gonna give a dislike is that it sometimes gets hot when it’s recording with screen on and some minor bug in the system (e.g screen freezes)!
