It's in the name.
This rod is perfectly named as an 'all rounder', it is light weight so can be held for long periods, yet it has a great deal of strength to cope with larger than expected fish. It will easily cope with carp into double figures but I wouldn't like to try it against 30 lbs + fish. The action is full length giving great confidence when playing large fish on light tackle. I think it is best suited to still waters or rivers with a light flow but it can be used for ledgering or float fishing and doesn't then feel as if you are using a hammer to crack a nut. Genuine light all rounder rod.
I was surprised at the quality of the korum all-rounder rod for less than £50 from Bobco. The action of the rod is very progressive gradually growing to ample power for tench, bream and nedium size carp. Its forgiving 1.25 test curve makes it most suitable for float fishing in my view but there is no doubt it is capable of handling medium size feeders and lead if used with bite slarms etc. Quality of finish is excellent.
