The product was more flatpack than I had anticipated, but isn’t awfully hard to assemble. A drill is preferable though. It’s also not massively heavy, but for this price I wasn’t expecting it to be so. Thus, it needs loaded fairly evenly or it could topple. It look well and is fairly robust for this price.

For the cost this hatstand is fine. It looks a bit ‘cheaper’ in real life than the pictures, but of course it is cheap. I wish I could afford a lovely solid hand carved wooden one, but in the meantime this one is covered in coats and hats and does the job.

I bought this coat stand because it looked ok and I thought it'd do the job. That's about the only positive that it looked ok. Where the stand is screwed together the joints don't ever get fully tight. The stand then doesn't sit upright it has kinks where you've screwed the lengths together. The base of the stand is also not broad enough therefore unless perfectly balanced with coats it constantly falls over. It may be ok for lighter items but then what's the point of it. Don't waste your money.

Was tricky to put together due to some holes not lining up and there was a lot of paint residue coming off the top part. My hands were covered with white by the end of construction as were my clothes. Needed it in an emergency so have been using it but needs to be very carefully weighted so avoid falling over. Possibly the top quality one would’ve been more stable but it was out of stock at time of purchase

Me and my 10 year old daughter made it(piece of cake) sturdy and just like the picture. I’m happy. Thank you!
