Works great for our old cat with liver failure
We inherited my mother-in-law's 16-or-so year old cat. He had a history of throwing up but her vet couldn't find anything wrong. After we'd had him for a while he started throwing up more, stopped eating, and became lethargic. Our vet diagnosed liver failure and was not optimistic, but recommended denosyl, which doesn't require a prescription and is relatively cheap. Ever since the cat's been on denosyl, he's been eating like a horse and is much more lively than his age would suggest. I'd recommend this for anyone whose pet has liver problems. It seems to work best when the cat hasn't eaten for at least 4 hours (preferably more) before we give it, then don't feed him for at least an hour after. Shop around because it can be found for a pretty low price. We've been paying about 2/3 what our vet would have charged us.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
