A great book of Poems
I was lucky enough to see Pam Ayres live a few weeks ago, which is why I wanted one of her books. I wasn't disappointed she is very clever lady. The book is hilarious, with not only many excellent poems but also little extras explain how they came about, what inspired her to write them. and because I recently saw her I hear her voice as I read them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Long winded and quite boring.
I loved Pam Ayres in the day but really only enjoyed reading again her more famous poems. A lot of them not that interesting and are very long, got fed up before getting halfway through.
