    Noticeable improvement after a month, easy install.

    Self-installed easily and noticed the air quality improvement within several hours. Also changed the system air filters at the same time. Located in return air, just after filter, before coil. It's been a month since installation and the filters are far dirtier than in the past, so something has clearly changed. Was highly recommended by my HVAC company. No maintenance needed, hoping for years of service. Considered UV lights but this seems a better solution.

    Relatively easy to install, but no easy way to tell if it is doing what is advertised.

    I'm giving this unit high marks based on the reviews and recommendations of others online. I found it relatively easy to install myself. However, I wish there was a direct or indirect way to verify that it is doing what it is supposed to do. The only indicator besides the "on" LED is to monitor the air filter and see if it loads up faster.

    Nu-Calgon iWave-R does well

    Nu-Calgon iWave-R seems to be doing what I expected. This is my first experience with such an item. I read many reviews & decided to go for it. I have a gas furnace & central A/C & this air cleaner does seem to reduce dust on furniture. Being installed in Feb. didn't give much time to test with the furnace before spring arrived & switched to A/C. I don't have indoor air quality issues that some have said made a big difference.

    I-wave is one of the best options and easy to install yourself.

    It does exactly what it claims to do

    These ion purifiers are very effective in in gathering small particles into larger ones that can be removed by ordinary furnace filters. It is so effective I am changing my filters every two months. We manually turn on the the circulation fans in our furnaces and air handlers whenever the building is occupied. We have six of these devices installed and are very satisfied with the results

    So far I am happy with it.

    Installed it and noticed a change in about an hour. Turned the indoor blower to manual and let her go. After a few days, I switched the fan back to auto. Time will tell but for now our allergies are much better.
