Good quality but the lights are longer than I had expected and sit proud of the ceiling
I have bought various Philips Hue lights over the years but this was the first time I bought any with a GU10 fitting. As my rating suggests, I think these are OK but they sit proud of the ceiling mounts because I believe they are much longer than usual GU10 bulbs. Like the old joke about the silicon chip manufacturer that's doing so well, it's moving in to smaller premises, I think this product would be a lot better if Philips could now make it more compact. If you want the lights to be flush with your ceiling, you may like to check the available depth first. To balance up my slighly negative comment, the fact this kit includes a bridge and a switch is good. I actually bought two of these kits and I have one switch (in its magnetic plate) on the wall near the old light switch and use the switch from the second set on the coffee table. I don't have a use for a second bridge, but there's no harm in having a spare, or something to give to someone else to start them off with a Hue system.
