A great help. All is not lost. Light at the end of the tunnel.
It explains how pain works & helps you overcome / accept chronic pain. A big coincidence is the author is appearing nearby doing a talk about the topic covered in the book, as a part “The pint of Science”. My tickets are booked.

Got some good tips
This book was recommended to me by my pain clinic as there is nothing more that can be offered to me..so I figured when your desperate you will try anything, I bought it feeling quite negative however on reading it I must say it is full of good tips and information and I have gained alot from it..I dont think it has altered my pain but may be opened my eyes to how I deal with it differently.

This is quite an old book,but recommended by the British Pain Society. If you suffer from chronic pain of any kind this is such a resourceful book Start your own note book with it and share with family and friends too It can be so lonely suffering from persistant pain. This is the best book i have ever come across that deals with body & mind A must i think.
