Good Blower not a fantastic vacuum.
The item works very well as a blower. It is easy to maneuver with the blowing attachments. I would give it a rating of 5 as a blower. It becomes somewhat bulky when you attach the vacuum attachments. It is a little challenging to maneuver as a blower and the suction isn't great for leaves. I went over areas more than once to pick up leaves. Also, depending on the area you vacuum in, watch out! The collection bag on the vacuum can kick out a lot of dust. I would rate the vacuum at a 2-3. Once you can actually get some leaves in the bag I think the mulcher does an okay job. I vacuumed leaves on my grass and one think I noted is that this picks up small individual leaves okay but if you try to get larger leaves or even clumps it doesn't not work very well. I had to lay it on its side and hand feed leaves into it. I also tested in my driveway and I discovered I had to hold the bottom of the vacuum level on the concrete in a sweeping motion in order for it to pick up leaves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Does the job almost as good as my older TORO blower
Replaced a TORO m-850 blower that I have had for a while and went out of production in 1994 according to TORO's CSR. I live on a wooded lot, have a driveway 20 x50 and a long curving sidewalk, a porch and large patio. I have many trees, and lot's of stuff that falls off same. I use year round especially in the fall when I use it to pile leaves prior to mulching them with the lawnmower. I have no use for it as a vacuum. PLUS: The power is almost as good as the old blower. Good enough to pile dry leaves 2' to 3' deep The balance is very good, much better than my old blower. I like the molded cord retainer. I had to jury rig with the old blower. CONS: This blower seems louder and the unit seems to run with more vibration than the older model. I wear ear protection for the noise but wonder if the vibration will lead to not last as long as the older unit. Time will tell!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I like it!
It works as I expected. Easy to use, even for a person unfamiliar with blowers (like me). Simple, intuitive control. Lots of power - especially on “high” setting. I bought this brand (and paid more $), rather than a competitor’s mostly BECAUSE of the extra CFM rating, and I’m glad I did. bang for the buck
have a Stihl gas leaf blower but needed a blower with a vac and this was the best value that i could find even though it required an extension cord. have used the vac to remove leaves on top of my pine needle mulch and it did the job plus mulched leaves better than i thought it would since they were wet from the constant rain that we have had. complaints about the bag not holding up was a concern but i have since washed mine and it is in great shape at this moment. will most likely use the electric blower more since we have solar panels and they make more electricity than we use and it is not as loud as the Stilh.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Definitely a quality product and worth the investment.
This is the best model of Toro Blower/Vac of the two I have owned previously. All were good but this model has more power and gets the job done faster. Variable speed control makes it easy to adjust power for the type of material being blown or vacuumed. Very powerful and pretty easy to use.
This blower/vac is very powerful and the speed dial makes it easy to control the airflow to sweep all the leaves and debris into a manageable pile. The vac feature is pretty easy to switch to and it easily mulches up everything. Powerful blower, good vac
The blowing power is equivalent to my shop-vac which has a 260mph blow speed. Vacuum it good, but due to the nature of the wide nozzle it isn't narrowly focused. Contrary to how this sounds, that is actually a good thing because while it picks up leaves easily, it doesn't pick up rocks. The vacuum does not incorporate a screen or filter, so you definitely don't want to be picking up rocks! Switching back and forth is pretty easy, but it's not something that I would want to do 10 times when vac'ing the whole yard. I may end up using the blower on the shop vac and the vac on the Toro - much quicker to switch between the two than to have to change out equipment on the Toro each time. Power In Electric
Powerful leaf blower and shreds leaves well. I purchased my second Toro after 10 years use of my first. My original blower still works but the variable speed switch is hit or miss so the switch is failing. Blow Hard
My third Toro in 30 years......very satisfied in leaf blowing power for an electric. Did not use vacuum on first two Toros,.... tried the vacuum out on my new one. Did very good job on picking up and mulching with dry leaves...However, had issues with wet leaves. Picked them up nicely but I noticed after about 10 minutes, the machine did not sound right. On inspection I found the blades had stopped.....wet leaves mulch caused major clogging inside the machine. spent 20 minutes digging out with screwdriver and fingers. will wait until summer to dry my stored maple leaves for mulching. Good product--be carful about using the vacuum function
It appears to be a good product. I used it once and it is very powerful. While they do say you can use it to pick up leaves, I would be very hesitant about using it for that purpose. The leaves would have to go through the propeller, and they worn you about sucking up a stone or other hard substance. My feeling is that it would be too easy to damage the propeller.
