honest appraisal
easy to assemble ,some welds are rough and the paints thin but then it is cheap, the motor runs pretty hot, even after the first mix and smells warm but after about ten mixes its still going well ,the mixer has a noisy gear which may get quieter with time, the power cable could do with an extra yard to keep away from water when hosing down. if it keeps going for a couple of years of diy home restoration then I consider it to be good value,.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value, great size
Ordered on a Tuesday, delivered by Thursday with full tracking. Having assembled the mixer and tested it, all seems to be working great. On the negative side the instructions to build could be clearer, however, this is only a minor issue as long as you count the bolts in each bag first and approach things logically. excellent machine but...........
This mixer is good, relatively easy to put together, larger drum size than many others but catered for with increase in motor size, would have been 5 stars except the internal mixing paddles let it down, they are flimsy, where they are bolted to the drum is potentially a weak spot, this will probably be the first problem which will be a shame as the rest is so good, all in the future and I hope I am proved wrong!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great practical mixer
Great practical mixer. Little bit fiddly and takes a while to put together along with slight leaks from the main seal the first time we used it. But now well greased and oiled it looks like it will last many years for half the cost of mainstream models.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New Mixer from Spares or Repair
Bought mixer to save mixing concrete by hand all major parts there except one wheel one mixing paddle and the instruction book not to worry as stated spares or repair got an idea of finished machine from pics of the product then set about building it pretty straight forward to build ordered a couple of wheels for £9.00 and a piece of sheet steel for £7.50 fitted wheels and used mixing paddle i had as a template to draw on the steel then fabricated a new mixing paddle from the steel fitted it and mixer works perfectly so i have a fully functioning new mixer for about £80.00 instead of about £200.00 bargain very pleased !!!Verified purchase: Yes

Big drum but motor inadequate
Used to mix concrete. One bag of ballast is the maximum loading the motor can cope with although the drum is well capable of handling more. Putting two bags of ballast in stalls the motor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very nice..
Good mixer does what it says .. you just need a 14mm ,13mm,2×17mm spanners and a flat blade screw driver and it's easy to assemble 1hour on your own but they are heavy (180L) advise 2 people It looks like it will do my jobs perfectlyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
