Great for my soffits and facias

Good strong aluminium constructions. This did a great job on my white soffits and facias from the ground or on just one or two steps of my step ladder. I found it better use with the last part partially extended to keep it more ridged and you needs strong arms when running the water through, but if you take your time results are good. I used a decent soap cleaner in a bucket applied without water flow and brushed first, then rinsed scrubed to finish. The on/off tap works well and the 3/4 Acme aluminium thread will take other attachments, which is useful. All in all good value, well made product.

The item feels very cheaply made and is very similar to a £15 washing pole I blight from Robert dyas. water leaks heavily from all the joints and it isn’t very good to wash windows. Sadly a waste of money. Personally, I’d save the money and put it towards a window cleaner. £70 seems very expensive for how poor quality this item is.

  • Simple to use

Easy to assemble and works well on ground floor windows and when not extended to full length. Second floor windows are easily reached with about three quarters extension of the pole but this reduces the rigidity and consequently also the amount of pressure that can be applied. When fully extended to reach soffits etc the brush can only be lightly applied to the surface, but it still removes grime and cleans with a little more patience than when the pole is used at the shorter lengths. If possible use it with the top section not extended as this section has the smallest diameter tubing and is therefore the least rigid. Definitely recommended.

  • worth spending a bit more to get a quality product that does the job

read up a bit about these products before I purchased, so knew what I needed so bought the right product for my property, this product had strength and quality so expecting it to last a while. everything fitted together well and the after sales service was good also. highly recommended.

  • good quality and did the job

It did what I needed to do without climbing a ladder!!! however it is not for people with a weak upper body strength, it is heavy when filled with water and takes some handling when fully extended. But as I said it did the job, just take it slowly, and the quality is good and the barge boards look clean

  • Waterfed Pole Window Cleaner

Having purchased a similar pole to this from another seller which was useless, leaking joints to much flex when extended and poor threads on the pole (plastic). I thought I would try this item which was more expensive but was in fact worth the extra money as now it does not leak at the joints is manageable when extended the on-off water switch does not leak and the brush thread is part of the pole NOT a useless lump of plastic stuck on the end All round it's a very good product I went for this one as it had all the extra's that I needed

  • Good, but heavy when fully extended

The cleaning pole does exactly what I wanted it to do, very good for cleaning conservatory, but when used to clean top windows and guttering, some would find it difficult to operate when fully extended. Still did a pretty good job though, and I would still recommend.

  • Lightweight with good features

It's lightweight, simply constructed and very easy to use. Good quality and does a great job, exactly as stated.

  • An awkward but effective device

The device is awkward to use when the pole is fully extended but that is to be expected. I did not connect a hose but simply dipped the brush in soapy water as recommended. I was able to clean my soffits, windows and conservatory roof successfully. To clean the glass after brushing it with soapy water I then used a wash leather over the brush to complete the cleaning. That worked leaving clean windows.

  • Does the job (kind of)

This item is pretty heavy to hold up to upper windows for a prolonged period, also ideally you need an accessory to apply soap to windows (at an extra cost) I have since purchased this accessory and will try again. Overall for cost and pack away size compared to extended size I'm very happy.
