Product good and birds seem happy.
Arrived as expected and the reusable tub is excellent. The birds certainly seem happy with their treats. The balls seem solid they don’t break up or fall to pieces and are good quality. The way it was packed, in an outer cardboard box that was not properly sealed was totally inadequate and the package was completely open. Difficult for the birds to eat!
While the product arrived on time the container was poorly packed resulting in the container lid being cracked in several places. Perhaps the fat suet balls had been made some time ago as they were very hard and difficult for the birds eat. Brilliant for all fat-loving birds, and convenient for me.
Fat balls are great when you're looking for something to give the birds when it's cold weather. The little ones can eat on the hangers. I also break some up and mix a little vegetable oil in with them to mop up the crumbs. Then I put the mixture on the ground for the blackbirds, who can't get to their worms when the ground is frozen, and who don't go on hangers.
