Powerful and compact albeit heavy
Punchy, powerful and compact these Dewalt 6.0Ah batteries pack a lot of power allowing you to spend more time at the coal face. Most recently used on a combi drill and impact driver set whilst up on a roof renewing a corrugated steel roof in freezing temperatures, these batteries lasted for 3 days without needing a recharge. Impressive. Doubtless their performance will fade as they et more use but as a starting point it's already streets ahead of other batteries. The downside though is weight. These are heavy on the hand when fitted and as the day goes on, you definately feel it. That's the trade off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product
Well packed, excellent quality and works as a charm. Perfect for my circular saw and angular grinder that swallows some Ah when in use. Wouldn't go for the size for my drill or oscillating multitool where I find 2 and 4 Ah optimal. Bought Flexvolt to be able to use it for both 18 and 54V tools if upgrading in the future. powerful 6amp battery
i purchased 1 of these to run my cordless mitre saw ,it's easily as good as a 240 v model ,battery lasted all day of constant use ,nothing too heavy tho, architraves and skirting etc ,it works very well and the bonus is it fits my planer, saw, multitool and jigsaw too ! i run these on 5amp batteries .i was so impressed that i purchased another one a week later ,I didnt buy the fast charger as the chargers for the 5amp work well though they are a bit slower ,but,if you have a 6amp charging and use the other one there is plenty of time to charge one up ,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very happy with this battery although it is a bit big and clumsy if you want to use it in tight spaces then its a no go. Superbly made battery. Unfortunately, the price for 1 Ampere Hour in Flexvolt batteries will cost you about 25% more expensive than in the usual 18 volts on the battery.
