Easy to install , fitted into existing ceiling space perfectly

Good product but bulb compatibility needs checking
It is good that a supplier will sell the principal components from a kit separately - it is rare all the components fail at the same time. The product was as advertised and delivery was quick - it arrived within a couple of days. However the bulb seemed underpowered and when I tried to use the one from my old unit it would not light or stay in place. I made a 2mm spacer from insulating material and fitted it between bulb holder and the housing using longer screws so that the bulb would stay in place. Nice little unit

Looks very smart and is easy to fit.
Arrived promptly, nice long flex to connect up, very straight forward to fit although I didn’t use the 2 slide in brackets provided to fix it to the ceiling just 3 screws to screwed directly into the ceiling. It was a direct swap for my old one so no cutting the hole bigger. It has a lovely bright white led lamp which has really brightens up my en-suite bathroom. Looks really smart with the chrome trim. This is a good unit. Would have given 5 stars but I don't like the cool white bulb so have changed it for warm white, not to keen on the fixing clap design but thats optional as you can directly screw the unit in place. Good replacement
Connector on old unit had corroded and the old driver didn’t work properly for LED bulbs. Pleased to find this replacement rather than buy a full extractor system. The transformer is a little fiddly to connect due to small screws (not easy when perched in the loft in the dark) but a reasonably easy straight replacement job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice replacement fan light.
Nice item and mostly straightforward, however I would recommend removing and refitting the screws that are in the retaining lugs before attempting to fit to ceiling as hey are extremely tight. I drilled the holes out slightly bigger to make life easier.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Let down by poor quality fixings.
I purchased this to replace an old Manrose fitting which used a low powered Halogen bulb. I found the SwiftAir LED quite a bit brighter but a couple of Watts more would have been perfect. The main problem was the flimsy fixing clips, they just wouldn't hold the fitting in place and in the end collapsed completely, if I wasn't able to use the old Manrose clips which were much stronger, I would have had a seriously bad day.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
