Not just for use in the shower
I'm a big chap with a slight mobility problem that means I need to sit whilst changing in to my dog walking boots under the car port. The seat is perfect. It came with all fixings needed to install to a brick wall, it was easy to fit, very strong and I feel completely confident when using it. JUST BE CAREFUL !!!
I was pleased with the quality and look of this seat but ... please be aware that it is very slippery when wet.... I did my usual thing in the shower, wet and then soaped all over standing up, went to sit down to soap feet and I nearly slipped off !!. I would strongly advise you to place a flannel on the seat first (which is what I did after the slipping episode) and it was fine. Please be wary.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to fit with all screws & wall plugs
Use small drill bit on fixing plate to position holes then obviously the big drill bit ...screw the back plate on wall slot on seat and hey presto your sorted. Sit Shower and Shave
The seat comes with everything needed to mount it on a solid wall. You'd need to buy extra fixings for a hollow wall. It's made from a good quality thick plastic which feels solid and safe. When the seat is folded out it's slightly angled upwards which means that the seat tends to flex slightly when you put your full weight down on the hinge. It was a little unsettling the first couple of times, but once settled it's obvious that the angle is holding you into the wall and there is little chance of slipping onto the floor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to clean easy to fit and it could last a lifetime if looked after.
This product is really amazing, great innovation and easy to fit. The only aspect of the fitting to the wall was that it needs a Lead-In on the top edge of the seat when it goes down behind the bracket which has been fitted to the wall. I got my dremel and ran an lead in along the inside top edge of the seat and I was able to fit the seat to the bracket easier. Absolutely fantastic.
