Good printer .. software horribilis
Although the printer itself is good the software is terrible. I was plagued by one of the installed services brYNsvc.exe with Event errors every 2-3 seconds . When contacting Brother they suggested I don't install that part. After doing that I get 10-12 errors from the services for iprint and scan. Again Brother told me to uninstall it. Seems that Brother don't really want to find out what causes the problem, they are adept at telling their customers "you don't really need that software". The printer itself is a breath of fresh air compared to my Samsung wireless which failed pick up paper or provide a decent black print. In that respect I guess I am just saying the Brother is performing as a laser printer should.

Good printer
Good, fast, easy to use printer. It seems a bit slower when printing duplex (double sided). Maybe the duplex speed should be quoted if it is significantly slower than single sided.
