Liebherr LTM 1090 Great Model
Good Model really like it. Really good modelling that has gone into this model for sure. Boom. The Crane Arm is a fully extendable with a high reach it comes with a crane arm jib for extra reach I haven’t actually used it but I tend to just have it attached to the side of the boom that can be attached with a small pin that locks it into place. The Hook it self is detailed with branding Liebherr which is a nice feature there are multiple hook lines that run down to the hook from the top of the boom on my model. A winch drum at the rear of the crane has a lot of winching cable in that can be used as a high reaching crane. is easily workable with a small screw type pin that is on the model and comes with a small Liebherr branded key for use for the hook. Main crane body. The stability legs are fully extendable for crane operating mode and can be retracted for transport mode. The model comes with a few plastic plates for the stability legs also but I don’t use them personally. The Cab is a nicely detailed inside and out shame that there are no working doors that would of been really cool but the Crane operating cab can be tilted for high visibility kinda like on a High Reach Demolition Excavator. The Wheels are steerable and nicely detailed, the weights on the back of the crane can be attached to the back of the crane operating cab. Things that are worth pointing out is that this model comes with a small bag of parts mainly the Liebherr branded pin for the hook and a small Alan key that can be used for the weights and the main boom to lock into a position of your choice also the small plates that can be used for the stability legs. This is a really detailed model from WSI Models the amount of detail on this model is spot on and worth the price in my opinion it’s a nice model to have around aswell and does look epic when being used as a crane. This is a 10 out of 10 for me as I learnt alot from this model and I find it very interesting to have a closer look at these machines but in a smaller scale. Allan.
