Good Overall
When I first received the book, I was so pleased with how well-kept it was during delivery. The cover is smooth and unblemished, along with the pages full of impeccably inked words. Frankly, I was more impressed with the book itself than the story, but I will have to take that up with Neil Gaiman himself. I didn’t really enjoy the writing style as he fails to fascinate me with Coraline’s character and thoughts, but I guess he was trying to go for a simple tale you can tell your child so they appreciate their parents more. Even if that is through a devilishly gruesome tale much different to the film :)

The book itself was good, however this book is from a primary school meaning it was used and has school stamps and pen markings within it. However as a school book it seems to be in a rather better condition than most books.
