Truly amazing speaker for its size!
Whilst it's never going to be sufficient for a street party ... It is an amazing high quality speaker. Well designed and well made. Able to cover the complete range of sounds from bass to highs very well. (Rest it on the arm of your chair and you'll be able to 'feel' the bass) Yes it's loud, loud enough to fill a small room. Being as small as it is (approx. 4 inch across) it is also a good speaker to carry around as it fits in a jacket pocket quite easily. If you like your music to follow you around the house, simply connect it to your phone (via Bluetooth), stick your phone in one pocket and the speaker in another and you have deep rich sounds wherever you go. It also features a green led light around the unit which can be On/Flashing/Off Sadly the flashing is not really in-time to the music, simply having it on, merely drains the battery faster. So the best setting for this unnecessary feature is off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better alternatives might be available
Does not work as well as it looks and falls short on practicality. The strap and hook on the rear of the speaker are not really useable in most situations. This makes it difficult to set the speaker in a vertical position for optimal 'on axis' listening. Sounds OK but no better than an older bluetooth speaker I bought for lower cost a few years ago.
