Swann DVR 1TB CCTV Security System
Bought to help a neighbour who had a problem with a persistent intruder, does the job very well, quite easy to fix up and configure, put a set up at home some while ago and have been great. The 1TB disc should give about a year of recording before it recycles the oldest files and overwrite them. Nice cameras, work really well and will give daylight reproduction on monitor even when it is almost dark outside I found. You can download footage and stills to a USB Peg and also the system can send an alert to your phone where you can also see the cameras recording live. Great value for money and support staff helpful. Supplied camera cables are 60 feet but you can use up to 300 feet cables of the same type which you can get off Ebay with the cameras, I used one of these on my neighbour's job and it works fine. Would recommend this system and Swann as a maker. You can also add cameras up t 8 on some units where they have the amount of inputs on the unit.

Too Clever By Far
Cameras work well in many light levels, with clear, good quality colour pictures. However, it's a absolute mare to set up with way too many bells and whistles. So much so, had to call in a favour from an IT pro. So, if you're looking for something plug and play, look elsewhere. You really need to be tech savvy & have the patience of Job. Overall, rather disappointing.

Lacking instruction manual.
Needs to include a proper instruction operating manual.For any information you have to look it up on the internet.One of them I looked at was 148 pages to download ?. Other then that a good quality system
