This almost acts like a perfume in and of itself. Quite a strong smell of clove. In line with other Liz Earle scented products; so if you like the scent that fine. It would not combine well if you want to then put your own perfume on (unless you matched it with the cream). It leaves a residue on the skin which you can crumble off with your fingers.
