This film covers the historical account of how Carol Shelby worked to build his brand from back in the early 1960’s . Matt Damon does a splendid job of portraying Carol Shelby’s personality . The video account of auto racing was great fun as well. Classic style movie, classy behaviors
Although the manufacturer makes the viewer go thru various visual steps to finally get to the movie itself, this is an ol’ school type classic. After seeing this movie three times in a theater with family and recommending to friends (and I rarely find a movie worth watching once), decided to buy it for home viewing. Ferrari’s tip o’ the hat to Ken Miles shows what a person with class is all about. The real life of Ken Miles as portrayed is just outstanding. Except for some “language,” which does not seem offensive given the circumstances and the real life portrayed, this is good family entertainment with lessons to be learned about maturity in men especially, and real love in a marriage. Best motor racing movie ever
This has to be the best movie ever made about motor racing - except it's also about a lot of other stuff. I expected great racing action and was not disappointed but the real story is what else happened. I thought "Rush" was the best movie ever on this subject, but between the storie(s) and incredible finale... racing in the rain at LeMans - this tops it.
