Swinging 60's pop star vehicle.
The DVD quality is acceptable. The film itself however was very disappointing. As two of my favourite 60's girls were in it I thought it would be worth a look. The story itself, despite the title, is set in London and the story line is very basic. The songs used in the film are largely poor and not like the best Frank Ifield hits. Suzy Kendall appears only in vague sort of fantasy scenes with very little character or dialogue. There are a few incidental London scenes which have a certain interest. The only saving grace of the film is that Annette Andre plays an excellent role as ever, totally natural and, also as ever, a joy to watch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
