Was once excellent, now only good, but still useful
As a young driver back in the 1970s I used these manuals as my mentor and guide to save garage labour charges as each task was documented step by step with numerous photos to show the amateur where to locate the item and action the instruction. Move forward 40+ years and I find the manuals give the amateur 'first trier' to much credit to understand what is being said, the photo references are not always clear and sometimes located on different pages. All this said, it is still an essential manual for the driver who might want to read the fault finding guides before calling a recovery service or running to the service garage.

Great to assist your car maintenance
Very good to help you maintain your car. Unfortunately Haynes manuals are not as comprehensive as they used to be and there are fewer drawings and photos compared with years ago. Guess that's progress, with fewer people maintaining their cars

Too many sections.
I needed to change dashboard bulbs. Found the right section and as I'm reading it says go to a separate section to see the right procedure to remove the screws in the right order. I go to the section suggested and start reading only to be told to go to another section to find something else. I then gave up, and ended up paying the exorbitant hourly charges at the local garage.
