Though Shamir's Northtown EP made him one to watch, it was his single "On the Regular," a witty, charismatic, and almost unclassifiable mix of pop, dance, and hip-hop that truly put him on the map. Synthpop Funk Goodness!
I honestly don’t know why I never bought or listened to this album properly when it was released but I’m beyond happy to now own it on vinyl. Anyone into their synthpop, disco or dance pop should at least give this album a go as every single track is a killer.
