  • Good 'old' fashioned mid- Atlantic comedy that passes a very pleasant 100 mins on a Sunday afternoon.

Good 1960's comedy with two stars at the peak of their acting powers and international fame. Miss Lollobrigida was of course the original Italian international screen goddess before Sophia Loren came on the scene. Sadly Miss Lollobrigida passed away in January 2023 so it is perhaps timely to relive some of her golden years on the big silver screen. As for Rock Hudson, well his career has been well documented and publicized. Having made some great movies with Doris Day he was, by 1964, well used to playing love comedy roles. Whatever his personal life, Rock Hudson was always very watchable and often - in these sort of comedy roles, he was like a loveable confused panda, not sure what his girlfriend / wife was up to.
