The answer is none. The answer’s also Freebie Waters and Benito “Bean” Vasquez, who are assuredly not in their right minds. Directed by Richard Rush (The Stunt Man), this rough-and-ready early buddy-cop caper follows in the skid marks of Bullitt and The French Connexion — but it’s a burning-rubber classic itself, with four major chase scenes and more than 100 car crashes.

About this product

Product Information

James Caan is Freebie, Alan Arkin is Bean, two amoral cops on the trail of crime boss Jack Kruschen who come across a witness who can break the case. But the witness won't talk until Monday and over the weekend, Detroit have taken out a contract on Kruschen. Freebie and Bean have to keep him alive in order to arrest him in Richard Rush's action-packed thriller, one of Quentin Tarantino's favourite films.
