A happy, comforting read... but it might make you hungry!!!
A lovely, nostalgic history of confectionary from the early (nineteenth-century) days of mass-production onwards, Provides so much information about the history of today's 'big name' chocolate, mints and sweets, plus the best-selling products and brands of past decades that have now disappeared. Excellent illustrations, and jogged some lovely childhood memories, as it will for adults of any age!
