Pro looking rig for GH5
I bought this for my new GH5. It looked Pro & is actually quite sexy. The grey finish is a nice change from black. It comes well packaged . The options seem to cover about 90% of accessory requirements . There are a few parts which seem to do nothing. The built in Metabones support can't be made to line up since its about 1/8th of an inch out. The support is not removable so is essentially pointless. A remote is necessary since the top plate partially obscures the rec switch etc.( a remote would be used anyway ) I find the tightening knobs a bit small. There are enough threaded holes for most accessories & several useful hot shoe points. The unit is a tight fit for the GH5 with little space around the camera . The quality is as good as most mid priced cages. It looks the part. I find most of the Rig items to be overpriced for what they are .... basically a cast aluminium frame with some holes drilled in it . I only consider it good value when compared with higher end products. There are much cheaper alternatives but it does the job for me , I like the way it looks , & it looks professional.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
