David Baldacci's "Absolute Power" came to me, via my wife, out of the blue, in paperback form, for 20p donation to our local childrens club ! I NOW OWN THE FULL SET In HARDBACK !! I am a crime fiction fan anyway so I decided to read a chapter or two at least...I could not put this novel down ! The US Government, C.I.A.,F.B.I. Secret Service" and local law enforcement all feature heavily in most of the 24 books so far, with "The Innocent" on pre order for April 2012. "Clint Eastwood" starred in a blockbuster film taken from, "Absolute Power" and most of the following novels are loosely related through two sets of leading characters, "Sean King" & "Michelle Maxwell",both ex Secret Service follows a series of crimes whilst, "The Camel Club" who are four elder gentlemen led by one, "Oliver Stone" seek to find, "The Truth".
