Good but later guides for later games are far better.
As the first in the series it has it's failing that were addressed by the guides to later games. Main fault is it's black and white, without the colour it's hard to decipher the images in the pictures, there just reduced to grey blurs. The text is not that clear, can be a bit ambiguous at times and doesn't always relate to the closes picture which can be confusing. If you get lost it can be a bit confusing to find exactly where you are in the guide, mainly for the for mentioned reasons. On the plus side it does guide you through the game stage by stage, warning you of pit falls and traps, tells you how to solve puzzles and where the secrets are and if you follow it's guidance step by step it will get you through the game but if you stray off on your own and then get into difficulties it's hard to find your way back for the above reasons.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
