A mean daughters tale of Bette Davis
This account of being a super star’s daughter is really mean. I started it enthusiastically and it does have lots of background information from “the inside”. But half way through I realised I was struggling with how mean and unkind it was. I put it aside. Poor Bette.

Well it's no Christina Crawford 'moma dearest', bette Davis was a good mum when you consider the mad world in which she was raising her children. If you're a fan of that film age and the wonderful miss Davis, then you won't be able to put this down.
