Laughter is the best medicine
I enjoy his way of looking at the world, and though he makes me laugh out loud people do suffer and die, sometimes quite nastily. Never predictable and full of very 'interesting' characters it is an adventure to relish in a world I would never have imagined. I believe in the power of a shared sense of humour, and the good it does us to laugh. Reading Pratchett is better for depression than pills, and brings sunshine on a dull day.
