  • A superbly told story of a Luftwaffe Pilot from 1936 to 1945

This is the story of a Pilot who flew for the Luftwaffe from 1935 to 1945. It is a well written book by the author and he tells of his experiences from being a pre-WW2 recruit, to his training as a pilot in the Luftwaffe and then being selected to fly 'undercover' for Franco in 1936. Then back to his further service in the Luftwaffe and eventual operational involvement in WW2. This book is full of interesting snippets of information that often stopped me to consider those facts and then get back to the story being told. The author has a superb command of English and it is a compelling read. The book is 266 pages, as the font is rather small, with slightly larger font it would nearer to a 400 page book. Very Good.
