Product Information
Without doubt one of the greatest combat aircraft of all time, the F-86 Sabre had its origin in a 1944 USAF requirement for a medium range day fighter. During the Korean war the Sabres destroyed 810 enemy aircraft for the loss of 78 of their own number. Variations of the aircraft saw service in many Air Forces including those of the Netherlands, West Germany, Norway, Turkey, Greece, South Africa, Pakistan, Australia and the Royal Air Force. The author follows the aircraft through various developmental stages and gives a full operational record.Product Identifiers
