I have personal experience of this era!
I lived these experiences both in country of origin and similar experiences in London! I bought book as nostalgia and a reminder of the brutality which was experienced by many! Great read for the young and innocent who can now have an insight of systemic economic denial and political hypocrisy! Many would say “ go back to your country WOG! But going back I had no future at that time because racism was practised violently and the racist propaganda introduced in the country of my origin by politicians was a duplicate of what was experienced on the UK! No regrets!
