Sniper One - The true account of shear bravery and resolve
Firstly, the book is extremely well written. Whilst I do not know for sure, I don't believe that it is Ghost written. There is a complete absence of Gung Ho but, by the same token there is humour and extreme bravery and, something I was not expecting, compassion for fellow comrades. This book was recommended to me and for that I thank my elder son. From day one, the dreadful experience of what was close encounter fighting begins and continues throughout. A reader must remember that this not fiction, it is not, in my opinion at all embellished; It is terrifying to say the very least and an absolute credit to all the soldiers involved.
