Easy to install and extremely useful.
A nice little product, easy to install and easy to use, crucially important to make sure all connections are electronically sound (from the rear of the satellite receiver through to the rear of the second TV) as the IR receiver (the eye) is powered from the satellite receiver. If there are any problems at all, the most likely cause will be a bad connection along that route (or the 12v is not switched on via the remote control in the satellite receiver). Make sure the TV is tuned in to the output of the satellite receiver and if you still have a poor quality picture try changing the output frequency of the saellite receiver and then retuning your second TV. It is well worth the time to try different frequencies and so long as you are capable of tuning your (second) TV you should certainly achieve excellent results.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Neat design ... but
The magic eye us a very neat design and is easy to install. However our new tv prevents the use of this. The sky remote will not operate it when the sky bix is connected to our new tv. Good Product to use for TV Beds
Purchased a tv bed, where the sky box is underneath on a shelf, remote was difficult to use, so purchased this tv eye, which is much cheaper then sky's one £14.99. Make sure you use RF2 port on the sky box and access the hidden service menu to turn on the 9v power. All works perfect.
