An all-encompassing one-volume masterpiece, written by a master gardener.
Excellent condition - I would have sworn the book has never been read before! I already have a copy of the old edition (from the 1970s) and it is fascinating to compare the two - various additions/amendments have been made: certain products/practices are no longer recommended; some name of plants/plant families have been changed; and a number of names/addresses have been altered/updated to reflect the passage of time. But overall, the book is substantially the same - I cannot praise it too highly. John Seymour was a great man and an excellent writer - we have lost one of the best growers the world has ever known.
