An easy read with excellent drawings
The drawings are excellent and the reading content ideal for children to help them to read. The story is a lovely insight into one aspect of the farming community, sheep rearing. It also depicts a growing relationship between a father and son and the desire of the boy to follow in his father's footsteps.

Essential for you library!
Beautiful artwork depicting English landscapes, animals and children. Down to earth story of everyday life on a sheep farm. We want to go there and share the experiences of this family after reading her books. Planning to add to our collection so we don't miss any. My toddler son loves these books, and I love them as well.
