Elfrida Phipps loves her new life in the pretty Hampshire village, where she lives with her faithful dog Horace, and enjoys the friendship of the neighbouring Blundells - particularly Oscar. An enjoyable story.
I always enjoy Rosamunde Pilcher books read by Lynn Redgrave. However, I had read the book and this is a very abridged version. It would probably have taken up too many tapes for the whole book but quite a chunk of the story at the end was missing.
