About this product

Product Information

The world we knew is gone. The world of commerce and frivolous necessity has been replaced by a world of survival and responsibility. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled: no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. In a world ruled by the dead, the survivors are forced to finally start living. Trapped in a town surrounded by madmen, Rick must find a way out or die trying. Meanwhile, back at the prison, the rest of the survivors come to grips with the fact Rick may be dead, and a major turning point in the series is reached. Reprint Edition

  • A Fantastic Read (without spoilers)

Having read the previous Walking Deads (1-5), by this point you are emotionally invested in the characters. Its therefore all the more satisfying when events unfold following on from the previous book. It also has a bit of a landmark first for Rick, showing the character,s growth that much more. It also sets the stage for events to come making you want to grab the next book. The art work is not just talented put the panels are cleverly done at times, particularly adding a Tarantinoesque flavour at one point.
