High Spec for low cost
I’m a professional barber and I buy and look for good cordless and corded clippers all the time. Someone mentioned these on an American FBOOK barber group and for the money £18 I felt they were worth a shot. I use the Wahl Detailers in their various designs and paid an eye watering £80+ for a similar pair to these recently . They were the same as the rest neither bad nor good but too expensive for what they do. These at £18 are absolutely spot on. Good quality heavy duty machine. Feel like quality in your hands with a comfortable grip. They come in a quality packing with 3 guard attachments for various depths of cut or beard trims. The instructions say an 8 hour charge gives 60 mins of use. There is also the option to charge it via a USB charger into a usb mini port beside the main two main 240V input. The motor is quite strong and willing and would definitely last the course in a busy barber shop. If it came with a drop in base holster for charging it would be a five star purchase but it’s a small gripe for a well specced out Detailer for only £18 delivered . It’s a simple task to plug in the two pin power lead. The cutting blades are good quality with a decent wide head. The blades are held on by normal Phillips screws which makes for hassle free adjustment or removal. The hex or torc screws on other clippers are a pain to adjust in a busy shop if you don’t have the proper tools. Everyone has a Philips /star screwdriver handy! All in all a great purchase and a lot of a cutting machine for small money.
