A very cheap paper back book. It’s full of the information you need to know-safety, where to start and ideas. Easy to read and well structured. Only down side is that it repeats itself and is very anti spoon feeding. I wanted to learn about baby lead weaning and that’s what it’s enabled me to do.

I bought this book when my baby was 5 months. I knew I wanted to do baby led weaning, but wanted to be sure about the finer details. The book was easy to read and very informative. After reading it I felt much more confident to follow my baby's cues. I'll be keeping it as it has a handy troubleshooting section at the end with common questions. The pictures in the middle are lovely. I can't really think of any bad things about the book really. I supplemented its information by looking at videos of baby led weaning on YouTube because I wasn't entirely sure how to tell gagging from choking.
Meal times are an absolute, albeit messy, pleasure. BLW has definitely been the way for our family and this book (which I am not yet finished reading) is giving me reassurance and confidence as we transition to solid foods.
