It's a well detailed account of the history of Hammer films from the early days to the present, with strong insight into the people who achieved that growth. The films are also well examined, with splendid colour pictures and reviews. In addition, it's a fine-looking volume, although there is a problem with a few pages being stuck together, causing slight tears when separated. Hugely enjoyable and a great reference book.
This book on Hammer film was strongly recommend by experts on this subject. I waited eagerly for it arrival. How disappointed to find that the book it's self was ex-library and not in the state that the article had mention on ebay.
The material it's self is well researched with fantastic photos. This book would have been better appreciated if it was in better condition.
I PURCHASED THIS BOOK FOR MY SON WHO IS INVOLVED IN THE FILM INDUSTRY AND HE
AND HIS PARTNER WERE DELIGHTED TO RECEIVE THIS AS A CHRISTMAS GIFT AND WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANY 'HAMMER FANS'.
