It makes an enormous difference
A brief review, would be "It works, buy one". I'm 6ft 3 and 21 stone and am on my second attempt in the last 4 years to use cycling to help get me fit and lose weight. I was about to give up again because I was getting no real exercise due to the pain of sitting on the bike. People told me that the saddle isn't the problem. I'd just have to get used to it, A bigger saddle would make it worse as there's more of you in contact with the saddle. It's my riding position, I'd just have to lose more weight before I could ride comfortably. But this saddle has solved my problem. Instead of cycling in bursts of 5 minutes of pain, I rode for 30 minutes today pain free. The only thing that will hold me back now is my lack of fitness. If you are big or fat like me, get one of these. It's so comfortable I'm thinking of getting another just to sit on at home or take to the pub. Ok that's exaggerating but I really am so happy with this saddle. It is going to help me lose weight, get fitter and enjoy riding a bike again. Not as good as I hoped for...
I have just bought a bike for exercise, and decide that as I am 5 feet 8 and 15 and a half stone, the "razor blade" that is supposed to be the seat would have to go. I thought this would be the perfect replacement as it was a gel seat and had springs on it and was wide. Fitted it this morning and went for a ride and it was a big disappointment. The big "springs" underneath are made of such hard metal that even my weight doesn't move them a millimetre - I can only assume they are there for decoration. As another reviewer has stated, the seat does not feel like a gel seat. When you press a gel pad with your finger, it leaves a dent that slowly disappears. Press this seat with your finger and there is no deformity at all, just like foam. The only good thing I can say about it is that it offers better support for people like me (with big bums) due to how wide it is. Not really comfortable at all and I wouldn't recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Comfy seat
This is a very comfy bike saddle. It's on the large side but looks totally ok when fitted to the seat post. When I ride my bike it seems to absorb shocks and bumps greatly, making me spring up and down slightly from the seat. The seat is fitted with a gel pad that moulds to the shape of your bottom and beneath that are 9 tension springs which add to a comfy ride... Great seat
Having got a new bike, I was looking forward to cycling again. However, with the seat that came with the cycle I found myself finding every excuse not to use it. I decided to get a decent saddle and so glad I did as I’m happy to cycle again. Definitely worth it if you’re feeling any discomfort.
