Wonderful guide to the Tutankhamun tomb A++
This is a must have for any Tutankhamun book shelf and easily my favourite book on the Pharaoh. Published 1979 this book succeeds by following the discovery of the tomb and treasure's as Howard Carter excuvated them. Lots of original Harry Burton photos of the items in place as they had been for over 3000 years and then colour pictures of the treasure's cleaned and repaired. All following the timeline Howard as he discovered them. Easily the best book for getting the sense of the wonderful things uncovered and also highlights the damage done by the tomb robbers . If you want a book of the golden treasure's pictures alone then this is not for you but if want to marvel at the discovery this book is highly recommended.
