I brought this as a gift for a relative who likes curries but is not a very experienced cook. I was recommended the book by a friend who is a good cook and have two copies myself, one for use in the kitchen (it gets messy!) and one for reading. Saroj gives interesting recipes with many shortcuts and timesavers (all in one curries done in the oven which I cook in my slow cooker) and using her advice I have cooked her curries in a pressure cooker when camping! An excellent book.
