  • Gladly awaiting the revised edition!

Alas, not nearly enough about those foundation/pre-war years - LV Calcutt and Ted Flanagan come to mind Some of this info CAN be found on the Speedway Messenger site, including info on pre-war riders like Jim Boyd, who went on to become "Cheetahs"' Captain about 15 years later. Other than that, this book is an excellent and accurate piece of work and provides a very interesting account of Oxford Speedway's history!

  • Super.

I am a long-time supporter of Oxford Speedway. I used to sponsor local riders. When I had a Motor Factor Company here in Oxford.
