If you loved the Dice Man like me you'll want more and this was a very readable follow up. The book charts the life of Luke's son as he searches for his father. Set 15 years after the first book ends this understandably is not as good as the first book, but you'd expect l that, given what a classic the Dice Man is. It's a great read and hooked me in after 30 or so pages. Watching Luke's son go from total refusal to try dicing to using die to govern his share dealings at the fancy Wall Street firm where he's a big shot trader. It takes in his relationships, a die centre, the stuffy Wall Street world, a couple of mad set piece scenes similar to the first book, and the reappearance of several characters from the first book. A very good read; I wasn't disappointed.
